Ixia angelae Goldblatt & J. C. Manning 120-250 (-400) mm high. Leaves 3–6, narrowly lanceolate, 3–6 mm wide.
Inflorescence (2) 4- to 7- (12)-flowered; Bracts pale translucent, ± 5 mm long on the outside, without dark veins when alive. Flowers light yellow, slightly lighter in the middle,
often red to brown on the back; Flower tube filiform, 6–7 mm long; Petals elliptic, spreading, 12–18 × 5–7 mm. stamens upright,
diverging at the bottom, pollen yellow. Flowering time: early October to mid-November.
