Sparsely branched shrublet with erect, tail-like branches, 0.2--1 m. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets subterete to ovoid. Flowers bright scattered, yellow or partly red, keel glabrous, calyx glabrous. Aug.--Feb. Renosterbos-fynbos scrub, 100--1000 m, SW, KM, SE (Olifants River Mts to Uniondale).
