Dioecious shrublet to 40 cm. Leaves decussate, needle-like, 5--12 mm long. Flowers in axillary clusters of 6--12, yellowish. Fruits indehiscent, glabrous or papillate, 3--5.5 2--3.5 mm. July--Nov. Sandy or gravelly flats and slopes, NW, SW (Piketberg to Riversdale).
