Densely leafy, white-cobwebby shrublet to 40 cm. Leaves lanceolate, erect. Flower heads discoid, small, in axillary clusters aggregated in dense terminal spikes, purple?, bracts golden. Sept.--Nov. Sandstone slopes above 1000 m, SW (Kogelberg).
