Robust tuberous geophyte to 60 cm. Leaves basal, narrowly lanceolate. Flowers many in a dense raceme, sepals cream-green mottled maroon, petals and lip lime-green, spur clavate, rounded, 11--17 mm long, lateral sepals oblong, 9--13 mm long. Mainly Oct. Sandy coastal flats, SW, AP, SE (Cape Peninsula to Humansdorp).
