Wild Flowers of the Highveld

A comprehensive book to the Highveld that covers the bushveld and grassland vegetation types is incredible. Many of South Africa's most beautiful flowers including many orchids occur in this area. There are over 2000 species known to occur in this south-central part of the Transvaal, and over 900 are covered in this book including most of the commonly encountered species and grasses.

Plants are arranged in the tried-and-tested format of grouping by flower colour followed by alphabetical order of families. This is a trade-off that makes it easier for the beginner to utilize the book for identification purposes.
