This is a small town on the south-western coast of South Africa south of Stanford. It is flanked to the north by the Walker Bay Conservancy, and to the south-east by the Pearly Beach Nature Reserve. The hills overlooking it are becoming increasingly invaded by a combination of pines, hakea and Leptospermum. There are several endemics to the mountains.
