Description:
Tufted annual to 20 cm. Leaves pinnatifid, discolorous, woolly below, glabrescent above. Flower heads radiate, solitary, subscapose, orange or yellow with red reverse, disc blackish, outer bracts with slender woolly tips, achenes with basal tuft of hairs obsolete and 2 elongate cavities, without pappus.
