Closely leafy, aromatic shrub to 1 m. Leaves ascending, occ. loosely imbricate, elliptic to oblong, often hairy beneath. Flowers subsessile or on short pedicels, 2--6 in condensed corymbs, white, pink to red outside, calyx usually hairy. Aug.--Nov. Sandstone slopes, NW, SW (Cold Bokkeveld and Piketberg to Langeberg and Kleinrivier Mts).
