Glaucous, stiff-leaved, few-branched shrub to 2 m. Leaves in axillary clusters, simple or forked in threes, lobes terete, pungent. Flowers in small compound umbels on slender peduncles, yellowish. Fruits obovoid, ridged and wrinkled. Oct.--Jan. Stony clay slopes, NW, AP, KM, SE (Worcester to Uniondale).
