Flowers in terminal, subglobose spikes, yellow to reddish-brown, keel silky, calyx silky, lobes attenuate. Oct.--Dec. Sandstone slopes in mountain fynbos, 250--1250 m, SW (Hex River Mts to Riviersonderend).
