Tufted perennial. Leaves opposite, oblong to elliptic, densely adpressed hairy, grey- to blue-green. Flowers in dense, rounded clusters on hairy peduncles, tubular, white to yellow, 3--8 mm long. Oct.--Nov. Stony slopes, NW (S Namibia and W Karoo to Karoopoort).
