Shrublet occ. to 1 m. Leaves opposite, linear-lanceolate, mostly round in section, with stout marginal cilia or papillae. Flowers in rounded, head-like clusters, cream, tubular, c. 4 mm long. Oct.--Dec. Dry rocky slopes, NW, SW, AP, KM, LB, SE (Bokkeveld Mts to Port Alfred).
