Species Diplosoma retroversum
Pictures from Observations
Etymology of Diplosoma:
Gk. diplo- = double; soma = body; named because each plant of this succulent has only two fleshy leaves, which lie opposite each other on the ground open like a book.
Etymology of retroversum:
From the Latin retro = 'backwards' and versus = 'in the direction of'; i.e. to be recurved backwards.
