Etymology of Ledebouria:
After Carl Friedrich van Ledebour (1785-1851), German professor of botany at Dorpat, worked in several European countries, wrote Flora Rossica.
Etymology of sandersonii:
Named after John Sanderson (1820-1881), journalist, trader and draughtsman. He was editor of the Natal Times and frequently sent seeds to Hooker at Kew and Harvey in Dublin.
