Densely leafy resprouting shrub to 1 m. Leaves digitately 3-foliolate, leaflets obovate-rhomboid, glabrescent and pellucid-glandular; stipul=es hairy. Flowers blue, calyx softly hairy and glandular, lowest sepal larger, accrescent. Dec. Mountain fynbos, 1200--1580 m, SW (Bainskloof to Riviersonderend Mts).
