Closely leafy, loosely branched shrub mostly to 50 cm. Leaves linear, 7--10 mm long, smooth except on the edges, margins closely revolute. Flowers in mostly solitary, rounded capitula, whitish. Nov.--Apr. Sandstone slopes and flats, NW, SW, KM, LB, SE (Bokkeveld Mts to Knysna and Swartberg Mts).
