Etymology of Cluytia:
As for Clutia. Clutia was renamed Cluytia by a Mr Dryander in Aiton’s Hortis Kewensis according to Curtis’s Botanical Magazine, Volume 45, 1818, now reverted.

From the Latin hirtus = 'hairy' and flora = 'flower'
