Like D. collina but flowers smaller, limb 9--13 mm long, sacs shorter and not strongly divergent, c. 2 mm long and posterior filaments thickened. Aug.--Sept. Sandveld in loose sand, NW, SW (Lambert's Bay to Langebaanweg).
