Erect, moderately branched shrub, to 1.7 m. Leaves ascending to patent, shape variable, narrowly ovate to obovate. Flowers many in a capitulum 27--55 mm diam., cream, occ. tinged blue, sweet scented. Aug.-Jan. Sandstone slopes, 500--2160 m, SW, NW, KM (Olifant's River Mts to Dutoitskloof and to Witteberg and Klein Swartberg).
