Shrublet, 40--60 cm. Leaves sessile, hairy, oblong, obtuse. Flowers in markedly one-sided cymes, blue, hairy outside, staminal scales ridge-like without lateral lobes, style hairy. Aug--Oct. Stony clay flats, LB, AP (Swellendam to Mossel Bay).
