Etymology of Manulea:
La. manus = a hand, plus diminutive; referring to the corolla’s finger-like divisions – the appearance of the five spreading (upright) corolla lobes.
Etymology of buchubergensis:
From the Buchuberg mountain in the Richtersveld near the Namibian/South African border. Buchu is the common name for members typically of the genus Agathosma, though in this case it is likely a different plant entirely as the Rutaceae are not known from there.
